The Yoga Bird
The Yoga Bird offers yoga for all stages and ages of life - whether you are perimenopausal or post menopause, prenatal or postnatal, needing a children's or baby yoga class, a beginners adult yoga class or an energetic yoga and HIIT class,a restorative yoga session or yoga for anxiety; Vicky has got you covered for your yoga needs in Gloucestershire and South Gloucestershire.
Having always had a keen interest in yoga and the benefits of it, Vicky has trained with Himalayan Yoga Valley, Petra Coveney, Ali Masterman (aliyoga); Joyce McMiken (findthebalance), Sadie Nardini, Françoise Freedman, Laura Gilmore (Bristol School of Yoga)and YogaKidz Worldwide in order to offer these varied yoga classes.
What's on offer
The Yoga Bird offers Weekly classes, Private 1:2:1/2:2:1 Classes, School and Nursery Classes, Workshops, Parties and Pre-recorded Classes.
Classes
Classes in yoga shred (yoga + HIIT), beginners adult yoga, parent & baby, pregnancy are run during school terms. Private beginners yoga classes are available where the class is completely tailored to your needs and requirements. The Yoga Bird is also able to offer different P.E. classes in nursery/school settings as well as PPA cover.
Workshops
Sometimes an hour just isn't enough to go through all the information. Join Vicky for a morning or afternoon for a range of workshops from helping you journey through your menopause, help with your pelvic floor, preparing for your upcoming birth and help with tummy separation post -natally.

What and Where are your current group classes?
All day time sessions are currently held in The Nest Studio, Kingswood, Wotton under edge.
Monday - Beginners Yoga - 12pm
Monday - Yoga Shred - 6.30pm (Kingswood Village Hall)

Tuesday - Yoga for Anxiety - 12pm (starting June 25th)
Tuesday - Yoga Shred - 6.40pm (Ridgewood Community Centre, Yate, 244 Station Road, BS37 4AF)
Tuesday - YogaBall - 7.50pm (Ridgewood Centre, Yate)

How do I book onto a class?
To book on any of my classes including pre-recorded sessions, go to Book a Class page, find the date that the class starts, find the class you want to attend, and then follow the instructions.

If you are interested in a private 1:2:1 or 2:2:1 class, then please email me and we will sort out a suitable day and time.
Cancellations, no shows and refunds
If I have to cancel a class for any reason, you will be given a full refund. If you are unable to attend, you can offer your place to a friend, unfortunately I do not give refunds.
WHat Should I Wear and Bring?
Wear some comfy clothing that you can move in, it can be comfy leggings, jogging bottoms, shorts or anything stretchy.
If you are attending a class at The Nest Studio, you will not need to bring anything. If you are attending a class in another setting, you may want to bring your own yoga mat if you have one, a blanket to make yourself warm during relaxation. Equally if you have any yoga bricks, blocks or bolsters, hand weights (yoga shred) that you like to use, please bring them along.
If you are attending parent and baby, please bring a blanket for your baby to lie on.
I am not very Flexible and can't remember when I last touched my toes
Welcome, you are in the right place and it really doesn't matter. I hope with practice, time and patience that you will soon feel a little bit more flexible and you will be reaching for those toes.
Can I do your Classes If I am PRegnant?
Please let me know if you are pregnant, only the pregnacy class is geared towards helping pregnant ladies and contains all the safe moves and practices.
